About
On 24 March 1999, life in Belgrade was divided into a before and an after. For 78 days, the city lived with the sound of sirens, air strikes and alarming news. Yet this story is about more than damaged buildings: above all, it is the story of people, a country and a city that kept on living.
On this tour, without slogans or political judgements, we will explore why the NATO operation began, how it was perceived in Serbia and beyond, which sites became targets, and why traces of those events remain part of the cityscape today.
We will see buildings that still bear the marks of the bombing and discuss everyday life in Belgrade in the spring of 1999, the international response, the memory that continues to shape Serbian society, and how the city made its way through war and back to peaceful life.
This tour offers a deeper view of Belgrade, an opportunity to understand one of the most difficult chapters of its modern history, and the story of a city that continues to live between the memory of the past and hope for the future.

Price: 2,000 RSD.
